Where in the World is Belgium

After reading Ellie's post about her art class and the artist from Belgium (that's where Belgian's are from), I took an informal poll on my cell. The question was, if I told you I was Belgian, where would I be from?

Had some unbelievable answers. One TEACHER answered Germany, another answered Hungary. Some of the other answers were Holland, Belarus and Bulgaria.

Then last night, Cait was telling me that Tom Greene smuggled a cat from Tijuana to LA, for Kat Von De. She just didn't know how he smuggled a cat in a muffler, all the way across the ocean. I must have looked confused because she said.... "you know, the island off of Asia". And they told me she was gifted.....

Homely Little Cait

This is Cait after hours of school clothes shopping. You don't even wanna know what I looked like... Thought it was so cute I just had to share. Hard to believe this girl just brought a baby RAT home for a new pet.

Name That Breed

This is our little Turbo. A patient brought him to me. He'd been thrown out on the freeway and had a broken leg. He has now been with us about five years. He has all the markings of a Blue Heeler, including the bra, the Bentley mark on his head, the coloring, etc. Obviously, he does not have the ears. He has the head of a Pit Bull and kinda walks like one. We're just wondering if anyone has any ideas, before I go get DNA done on him. He does not have the Heeler temperament, more of the Pit. I don't hesitate to leave my door unlocked. If anyone can get past him, more power to them! He does not like baseball hats, will not let anyone touch his feet, probably because his leg was broken and so sore when we got him. We recently got a new grill and he doesn't like it at all. He barks at it, sticks his head under the cover, then jumps back and barks again. He is the sweetest boy.

Saxon, The Not So Handy Man

So I actually sleep in a little today because Doc is out of town. I am awakened by something rumbling around in the attic. Saxon has decided to replace the duct work at 6:00 a.m., before it gets to be 500 degrees in the attic. Might as well get up, can't sleep with him banging around. I swear he goes out of his way to make noise when we are trying to sleep.... Get up, get ready, drying my hair when the dogs all start barking like there's a boogy man tryin' to get 'em. Yes, you can hear five dogs barking over a hair dryer. Go to investigate. Poor Cait is standing in her doorway, looking up. (She is Poor Cait because, her wisdom teeth are coming in, can't eat anything, got a shot in her butt so her hip is sore and a mosquito bit her on the top lip in the middle of the night so she looks like Lisa Rinna. Some people pay good money for that look. Oh, and she's had a stomach virus since Sunday. Not a happy camper.) Now, when you look up, you usually see ceiling. No. I get around the corner to see what she's looking at. We now have a clear view into the attic. SOMEONE fell thru the ceiling. Good thing he's on vacation for another week. Now he GETS to finish the duct work and fix a hole. I've been wanting that popcorn ceiling scraped......
